In preparation for the Omicron surge, the Chelan-Douglas Health District in partnership with Confluence Health is opening a COVID-19 Triage Center for adults at the Saddlerock EPC Church parking lot at 1400 S. Miller Street in Wenatchee, which is just up the street from Central Washington Hospital. The Triage Center is scheduled to open on Tuesday, January 11, coinciding with the opening of the CDHD’s COVID-19 Testing Center at the Town Toyota Center parking lot location in Wenatchee. The COVID-19 Triage Center has limited COVID-19 testing available.

If you are mildly symptomatic, do not have any difficulty breathing, and need a COVID test, you should go to the CDHD’s COVID-19 Testing Center in the parking lot of the Town Toyota Center.

If you have previously had a positive COVID-19 test and are experiencing symptoms that are of concern, such as difficulty breathing, increased heart rate, a temperature greater than 101 degrees, severe weakness, or other respiratory illnesses, you should come to the Triage Center at the Saddlerock EPC Church.

The Triage Center will be open:

  • Monday – Saturday: 12:00PM to 7:30PM
  • Sunday: 1:00PM to 7:30PM

Avoid long wait times at our Emergency Department or Walk-In Clinics by visiting the Triage Center, with shorter wait times to help patients who are worried about their condition know whether they should be concerned or not.

Upon arrival at the Triage Center, patients will have their vitals taken and assessed by a trained healthcare professional. At the close of their visit, they will be given guidance in how to care for their symptoms at home. Patients who need additional care will be referred to the Emergency Department.
