Getting vaccinated annually is the very best way to avoid the flu and stay healthy. At Confluence Health, we are offering the flu vaccine at several drop-in clinics at selected locations, (Check below for clinic locations, dates, and times) Walk-in clinics (Moses Lake, Omak Campus – Adults Only), *Please Note: We are not offering flu vaccines at our Wenatchee or East Wenatchee Walk-in clinics for 2022-2023 flu season.
Seasonal flu vaccine costs approximately $65 for adults over age 19, high dose vaccine costs approximately $110 for adults over age 65, and for children age 6 months to 19 years it is provided free of charge. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We can bill your insurance. *While supplies last.
If you are 65 years of age or older, be sure to ask for a High Dose flu vaccine this season!
People 65 years and older are at higher risk of developing serious flu complications compared with young healthy adults. The increased risk is due in part to changes in immune defenses with increasing age. The High Dose flu vaccine contains four times the amount of antigen (inactivated virus that promotes a protective immune response) compared to a regular flu vaccine. This leads to a stronger immune response following vaccination.
