Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade

Confluence Health Hospital | Central Campus & Clinic was Again Nationally Recognized by Leapfrog with a Grade “A” Rating for Hospital Safety :

The Leapfrog Group is an independent, national not-for-profit organization founded more than a decade ago by many of the nation’s leading employers and private healthcare experts.  Over the years, they have driven efforts to make giant “leaps” forward in the safety, quality and affordability of healthcare in the U.S., by promoting transparency through their data collection and public reporting initiatives.  The Leapfrog Group focuses on measuring and publicly reporting hospital performance through the annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey.  The survey is a trusted, transparent and evidence-based national tool in which more than 1,800 hospitals voluntarily participate free of charge.

The Leapfrog Group released their most recent safety scores (A through F) for approximately 3,200 hospitals in the United States.  Confluence Health Hospital | Central Campus received an A; Confluence Health Hospital | Mares Campus is too small to be scored.   There we only two hospitals in Eastern Washington to receive an “A”: CWH and Kadlec in Richland.  There were 9 hospitals in Washington that received an “A”:  CWH, Kadlec, University of Washington, Swedish Issaquah, Overlake, Evergreen Health, Virginia Mason, Providence St. Peters, and Legacy Salmon Creek.
