SUMMARY:Clinical Summit Presented by Confluence Health and UW Medicine
DESCRIPTION:Confluence Health is pleased to partner with UW Medicine and Airlift Northwest to co-host the “Advances in Clinical Care: Confluence Health and UW Medicine Summit” taking place on September 25\, 2026\, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Pybus Market Event Center in Wenatchee. The conference will focus on trauma/stroke/cardiac care\, EMS in the rural setting\, and transfer-of-care practices. \n\nIntended Audience: This event is intended for providers\, nurses\, clinical support staff and prehospital/EMS professionals involved in the care of trauma\, stroke and cardiac patients. CME/CE credit opportunities and lunch will be provided.\nAgenda in Development: Facilitated by a panel of UW Medicine speakers and North Central Regional EMS and provider partners\, the program will focus on orthopedics/trauma\, traumatic brain injury\, neurology\, cardiogenic shock identification\, cardiac resuscitation and ECMO\, UW Medicine patient transfer center processes\, and more.\n\nConfluence Health appreciates the collaboration and planning efforts with UW Medicine that have helped bring this opportunity forward. SUMMARY:Childbirth Preparation Series
DESCRIPTION:This class helps expectant parents feel informed and confident about the journey of labor\, delivery\, and early postpartum care. It provides an overview of what to expect during childbirth\, including the stages of labor\, comfort and coping techniques\, and common medical options. Participants also learn practical ways to support one another during labor and receive guidance on newborn care and recovery after birth. The class is interactive\, offering demonstrations and time for questions\, and is suitable for first-time parents or those looking for a refresher. Partners are encouraged to attend.  \nClass size is limited\, so please reserve a slot by calling (509 433-3002) or emailing ejoan.slack@confluencehealth.org. The fee for you and your support person is $99. Your insurance plan may cover a portion of this fee (please contact yours to verify).
