Dedicated to the delivery of excellent, cost-effective health care, Central Washington Hospital stands out amongst its peers as a financially well-managed institution.
Central Washington Hospital provides quality medical care to residents of North Central Washington – right here at home in Wenatchee. Like local schools, businesses and churches, a community hospital is a key resource that enhances the quality of life where we live and work.
Services include inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac program, coronary and intensive care, respiratory care, oncology, dialysis, neonatal nursery, home health and hospice, regional trauma emergency department, skilled nursing and rehabilitative services such as cardio-pulmonary, physical, speech, and occupational therapies.
Central’s Hospital Services include:
ICU – An intensive care unit, is a special department of the hospital that provides intensive treatment medicine. ICU caters to patients with severe and life-threatening illnesses and injuries, which require constant, close monitoring and support from specialist equipment and medication in order to ensure normal bodily functions.
PCU – Progressive Care Unit, takes care of patients too sick to stay on a regular hospital floor, but not sick enough to be in ICU. It is often used as a step-down unit for patients who have spent time in the ICU, have undergone major surgery or need specialized monitoring.
Mother/Baby– Confluence Health’s Central Washington Hospital’s Mother/Baby Unit is here to make your family’s birth experience a pleasant and memorable one.
