Job Description
  • Compensation: Base rate plus 7% on all hours worked after 5pm.

Position Summary:
  • To maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all WVMC facilities, utilizing his/hers assigned area Run description and current policies & procedures.
Essential Functions:
    • Removes trash, including Bio-hazardous waste, from Medical Center on a daily basis.
    • Restock all exam rooms, restrooms and common areas as needed
    • Dust mops and wet mops all hard-surface floors.
    • Vacuums all carpeted areas and other areas as required.
    • Washes walls.
    • Cleans windows.
    • Performs high dusting
    • Identifies and reports to supervisor/Lead items needing repair/replacement.
    • Clean restrooms including toilets and all items.
    • Any other cleaning areas or duties assigned.
    • Helps in securing his/hers area by locking doors and turning last off at the end of the shift.
  • Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
  • Required:
    • Current and in good standings WA Drivers License.
    • Must relate effectively with co-workers, physicians, staff, patients and the general public and function as part of a team.
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Must be able to reason and think logically to solve problems.
    • Must be able to use judgment and make decisions.
    • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information.
    • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Desired:
    • One year institutional custodial experience.
    • High School diploma/GED.
