Job Description

Confluence Health in Moses Lake, WA has an excellent opportunity for an Orthopedic PA-C or NP to join an established and collegial group of 9 Orthopedic Physicians and 7 PA-Cs system-wide. Our Moses Lake location currently has 4 full-time Orthopedic Physicians and 1 Surgical PA-C. This is primarily an out-patient position with some inpatient medicine, OR duties as assigned, and rotating call. There is significant autonomy in the clinical schedule with excellent supervisory and collaborative support. Previous experience as an Orthopedic PA-C is highly desirable, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, committed, compassionate, and dedicated to patient care. New graduates are welcome to apply.



1. Completion of an accredited training program for Certified Physician Assistants or

2. Master’s degree in advanced nursing practice, or completion of at least one academic year in a non-graduate program for the training of an advanced registered nurse practitioner prior to January 1, 1995.


1. Physician Assistant

a. Current licensure as a Certified Physician’s Assistant in the State of Washington at time of employment, OR

2. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

a. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Washington at time of employment,

b. Current licensure as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in the State of Washington at time of employment.

3. Current certification by a national certifying body.

4. Current prescriptive authority licensure, only if current practice includes:

a. Prescribing medications

b. WACs 246-839-300, 246-839-305, 246-839-320, 246-839-400 & 246-839-410.

5. ACLS verification

6. BLS certification

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS: Must be able to function without visual or hearing accommodation. May accommodate some physical disabilities in order to ensure patient safety in all working locations.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Maybe stressful at times managing multiple priorities in a challenging and continually changing environment in the hospital setting, procedure labs and outpatient clinics.

HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: May have exposure to radiation and nuclear isotopes as well as various other chemicals utilized in the outpatient and hospital setting.
