Confluence Health | Wenatchee Valley Medical Group Community Health Partnership Fund

Confluence Health and the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group support a variety of causes and organizations in Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan Counties. The Community Health Partnership Fund, managed by the Confluence Health Foundation, awards up to $500,000 annually in grants available to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and government entities (e.g., schools and emergency response) for projects that align with our focus areas.

Focus Areas:

  • Health & Wellness: Projects that directly support comprehensive health and wellness access and activities.
  • Social Determinants of Health: Initiatives addressing food and housing security, early education, economic stability and social support systems.

Guidelines:
Organizations may submit one grant proposal per cycle. The Community Health Partnership Fund may consider applications from faith-based organizations if programs and services are:

  • Open and accessible to all, regardless of faith or belief.
  • Separate from faith-based activities or instruction.
  • Without requirements for participation in faith-based activities to receive services.

The Community Health Partnership Fund Committee reviews all proposals and determines awards. Grants may be up to $50,000. The median award size in 2025 was $7,000, and funding is typically distributed by the end of October.

Examples of support requests that have been declined in the past:

  • Sole religious focus
  • Wine-centric events
  • Beauty pageants
  • Individual or personal requests
  • Large national organizations without a clear local benefit to our local community
