Routine Care

Staying on top of preventive care is one of the best ways to protect your health. Confluence Health’s Routine Care team works closely with your primary care provider to identify the screenings, lab work, and follow-up care that are right for you. Through regular outreach by MyChart or mail, we’ll let you know when you’re due for recommended preventive services and provide guidance on how to complete them. Our team reviews your medical record to help ensure you receive timely, personalized care, making it easier to stay current with important health screenings without waiting for your next provider appointment.

We can help you with:

  • Preventive screenings and routine blood work tailored to your age, health history, and care needs.
  • Cancer screenings, including breast, cervical, colon, and lung cancer screenings.
  • Health condition screenings, such as diabetes, heart disease, thyroid health, and bone density testing.
  • Recommended lab testing and follow-up care, including Hepatitis C, HIV, and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) screenings when appropriate.
  • Care coordination and reminders, including lab orders, appointment scheduling guidance, and personalized preventive care outreach.

The “Message My Doctor” feature enables you to send secure messages regarding non-urgent medical concerns to your providers. A member of your healthcare team will respond within two You can complete lab tests at any Confluence Health lab location. Please note that lab orders are valid for six weeks from the date they are issued. After this period, the labs will no longer be able to be drawn. Although walk-ins remain welcome, lab encourages patients to make an appointment for routine blood draws. Our Routine Care team regularly reviews medical records to ensure our patients receive appropriate preventative labs, exams and appointments. Based on those reviews, the Routine Care team will identify tests and appropriate follow-up specific to you.
