Apple Blossom Run Continues to Grow Community Impact

The Apple Blossom Run continues to show just how powerful community can be when we come together around health, inclusivity and connection. Year after year, this beloved event brings individuals, families and organizations together with a shared goal: supporting wellness and strengthening access to care across our region.

In 2026, that collective energy reached new heights. A total of 1,602 runners and walkers participated in this year’s event, an incredible 29% increase from 2025. From young students to seasoned participants, the strong turnout reflects a growing enthusiasm for community-centered wellness and active living.

School participation once again played an important role in the event’s success. Local students showed up in full force, led by:

• Cascade Elementary: 201 participants
• Grant Elementary: 128 participants
• Kenroy Elementary: 54 participants

Their involvement highlights the importance of building healthy habits early while fostering a spirit of connection and pride within our schools and neighborhoods.

From first-time runners to longtime supporters, the continued growth of the Apple Blossom Run reflects a shared commitment to making movement accessible, celebrating community pride and supporting healthier lifestyles for all.
