Moses Lake’s new radiation therapy center removes major barriers for cancer patients by offering treatment locally, reducing travel and stress. The facility was funded through a $3.5 million community-driven campaign led by Confluence Health Foundation and Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation.
The facility is equipped with cutting edge technology designed to deliver highly precise, safe, and effective radiation therapy. This includes the newest generation of radiation delivery machines and a logical CT scanner, which allows clinicians to map and target tumors with exceptional accuracy while protecting surrounding healthy tissue. With these tools, the center can treat a wide range of cancer types and meet the unique needs of individual patients.
The spirit of community support is literally built into the walls. During construction, patients, families, and supporters were invited to write messages of hope and encouragement throughout the building’s framework. These reflections remain sealed within the structure—a lasting symbol of compassion, strength, and unity.
