Cooking with Confluence
Preparing balanced meals to promote health
Learn basic cooking skills, recipes, information, and meal planning ideas to help manage diabetes, weight, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and overall health. Classes are taught by a Registered Dietitian. $15 Per person per class or $40 for all 4 classes.

- February 7th – Fruit for Thought – “Baked Apples”
- March 7th – Vary your Veggies – “Veggie Scramble”
- April 4th – Hearty Whole Grains – “Southwest Brown Rice Bowl”
- May 2nd – Pro Tips for Protein – “Stir Fry”

Diabetes Self Management Classes
Diabetes can be hard to manage when you don’t completely understand it. This class offers the tools and techniques you needs to control your diabetes instead of letting it control you.
Confluence Health’s “Caring For You and Your Diabetes” Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education for meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education.
Are offered weekly, starting the first Tuesday of each month, for four weeks 4:30PM to 6:30PM *Dinner is included*
