Breast Care Program

WVMC groupProviding our patients with the highest quality healthcare is something we take very seriously. That’s why we offer newly diagnosed breast cancer patients prompt access to the treatment plan that best fits their individual needs.

Our cancer services are accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, which recognized our organization with the Outstanding Achievement Award for commitment to excellence. Our multidisciplinary cancer care team is dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for cancer patients by determining the best treatment option, which may include one or more of the following:

  • Dedicated women’s imaging radiology
  • Surgery
  • Medical oncology
  • Radiation oncology
  • Breast care coordination

We work with patients and their primary care provider to access our support services in a timely manner—whether they’re driving across town or across the state—and try to coordinate all initial appointments for the same day. Our breast care coordinator meets with patients and is available throughout their experiences at Confluence Health, guiding them through each step of the process.

We use state-of-the-art imaging and procedures to ensure that our patients receive the best possible radiological assessment and treatment.
