Sowmya Palam, MD

About

Growing up in India, Dr. Palam experienced firsthand the impact of poverty and its consequences on those with minimal resources being denied access to basic healthcare. This experience had a profound impact on her. In the years to follow Dr. Palam devoted considerable time helping those in need through organizing fundraisers and volunteering at charitable organizations. She finds immense gratification in helping and serving others and hence, was drawn towards medicine due to the ability to help someone in a very impactful and meaningful way.

In her free time, Dr. Palam enjoys trail running, hiking, biking, art, painting, and gardening.
