Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online and attach a current CV, or fax it to (509) 664-3404. Providing a phone number with voicemail capability is helpful, and adding a note regarding your specific interest in the position is also encouraged. Our in-housing recruiting staff responds warmly to inquiries directly from physicians.
- After we receive your CV, our in-house recruiting office, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and department physicians will screen it against our minimum qualifications and department needs.
- Short, initial phone interviews are conducted by the department’s physician leader, followed by a more in-depth phone interview with a small group.
- A packet of information will be sent to you that includes a Pre-Interview Credentialing Form with which you may indicate your continued interest by providing references and brief pre-credentialing information. We like to get to know our candidates further through reference checks before making interview decisions.
- Our interview visits typically encompass 2-4 days and are designed to provide everyone involved the opportunity to get to know each other in both professional and relaxed settings. Candidates and spouses leave with a realistic look at WVMC and the community.
