Physician – Apply Online Process

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online and attach a current CV, or fax it to (509) 664-3404. Providing a phone number with voicemail capability is helpful, and adding a note regarding your specific interest in the position is also encouraged. Our in-housing recruiting staff responds warmly to inquiries directly from physicians.

Recruitment Process

  1. After we receive your CV, our in-house recruiting office, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and department physicians will screen it against our minimum qualifications and department needs.
  2. Short, initial phone interviews are conducted by the department’s physician leader, followed by a more in-depth phone interview with a small group.
  3. A packet of information will be sent to you that includes a Pre-Interview Credentialing Form with which you may indicate your continued interest by providing references and brief pre-credentialing information. We like to get to know our candidates further through reference checks before making interview decisions.
  4. Our interview visits typically encompass 2-4 days and are designed to provide everyone involved the opportunity to get to know each other in both professional and relaxed settings. Candidates and spouses leave with a realistic look at WVMC and the community.
