Employee Health

Healthy Employees = Healthy Patients

The role of employee health in pre-employment screening:

All new employees are required to have an Employee Health screening prior to their start date. Screening includes Health Evaluation forms as well as immunity screening. Our immunity requirements are based on CDC guidelines and State law. They vary based on your role at Confluence Health.

There are two requirements for initial clearance to start. Submit your Employee Health onboarding paperwork packet and proof of COVID19 vaccination or declination in (name of system?) Do we say something about Flu Vaccination and or declination?

More detailed information will come to your personal email. Please make sure to check your email and thoroughly read the information and instructions.

Sick & Can't Work?
All staff (employees, students, providers) are responsible for reporting to work free of communicable disease and other conditions that prevent them from safely performing their job. You are responsible to notify your supervisor if unable to work prior to a scheduled shift, and to call to report your symptoms.
Call the confidential Employee Health Services (EHS) Illness Reporting Line at (509) 433-3165 or x33165 (NEW!) and provide your name, e-number and phone number.
Employees must contact Employee Health Services for clearance prior to returning to campus.
