Support Groups

  • Wellness Place cancer support groups: (509) 888-9933, www.wellnesplacewenatchee.org.
  • Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation support group: Moses Lake Senior Center, 602 3rd Ave. Meets on the third Monday of each month from September through May at 5:30 p.m. Contact Angel at (509) 764-4644.
  • Caregiver support groups for spouses, family and friends: Meets the first four Wednesdays of each month from 3:30–5 p.m at Aging & Adult Care, 50 Simon St., Ste. A, East Wenatchee, (509) 886-0700.
  • Men’s prostate cancer support group: Kristall’s Restaurant, 280 US-2, Leavenworth. Meets every second Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. Led by Dr. David McIntire and Jay Hansen. Spouses are encouraged to attend.
  • Omak prostate cancer awareness and support group: Meets for coffee or breakfast on the third Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. at Koala Street Grill, 914 Koala Drive, Omak. Wives, significant others and/or caregivers are welcome.
  • Ostomy support group: This support group offers education and support to individuals currently living with an ostomy. Facilitators: Tyree Fender, RN, CWOCN, and Diane Eccles, RN, CWOCN. Located at the Wellness Place, 609 Okanogan Ave., Wenatchee. Call (509) 888-9933.
